The distance,
one must travel.
To co-exist,
with a tragic past.

The lives,
all seem to grovel.
For a peace,
they want to last.

Decisions made,
at the highest level.
Impact all,
without their choosing.

Generals must,
rise above revel,
asking ‘how far’,
to win a war you’re losing.
