To succeed on the journey,
a mountain must be climbed.

No matter how long,
one stares upward,
a mountain must be climbed.

No guarantee of ever reaching the top.
In fact, more like sure doom,
yet a mountain must be climbed.

Step one,
right foot forward.
Step two,
you’re on your way.
