Lost in the tragedy,
the 9th decade,
Nineteen hundred years later.

Given choices,
forced to choose,
the kind of life,
that’s yours to lose.

Survival,
showing the hind sights,
of time.

Reflecting,
wondering,
resting in rhyme.
