Fall Into the Pink Flower

Dreaming softly,
yet the dream is weird.
Eclectic, Ecstatic, Esoteric.

Move now,
the chase begun.
Not on this planet,
not upon the sun.
Through space we fly,
Alarmed by the gun.

Time ticks,
the bells,
sound.

Fade,
the plane passes.

Taken back to comfort,
yet oddly uncomfortable.

Promise of something,
no fear for the dying,
angelic voice is carrying me home.

Then the register opens.

Class warfare,
keep away the peasantry.
I earned my keep.
Never letting go.

It’s time to float again,
forget the hard stuff,
and just let go.

Adrift into the vibrational overtones,
of a seventies sax player.

Lamentation,
Frustration,
Confusion setting in.

Duality,
Geometry,
Enlisted in the army.

Agreement or fisticuffs.
Can’t be bothered,
with or without.
No way out.

The last battle,
to be fought.

On the precipice,
of insanity,
for questioning one’s own mind,
leads to the spinning effect.

Where your balance is lost and you roll,
from what you know,
and all that you don’t.

It’s a full moon,
and a lunar eclipse,
what rings true anymore?

Yet the heart beats again.
