What takes precedence,
the old or the new?

We can feel the sorrow,
of yesterday’s moments.
We can dream,
of the untold future.

There’s a dance of polarity.
Which energy will win?

Competitive view states,
‘one opinion should win.’

Higher perspective states,
‘One already has.’
